Great level. You know, when I was playing, I saw two things that I thought were hilarious. 1. When one of the fish was coming after my gladiator, I dragged him over to general safety over at the shore. The fish was still chasing my guy at considerable speed, so he flew out of the water and got himself stuck between the chunks of land! I lolled at that. 2.When I saw the Lake boss, I thought immediately: "Oh crap! It's a freaking' shark! I'M GONNA DIE! Dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun.

Sniper/Mage with the pierce card would work wonders on this stage. Would take a little while but it would be a great way to get decent exp safely if you're having trouble with other stages.

Actually I already tried that, and you know what? It doesn't work as many wonders as you might think.

Nice work for piecing together the levels! Unfortunately, this just makes me want one long uber-level :'c

Well, hopefully on the next update the hill country levels might have drops.

Well, hopefully on the next update the hill country levels might have drops. The HC route already is a shortcut to the Castle. Personally I feel that there is no need to further incentivise the HC route, but who knows? Anything can happen. Conversely, the Lake should hold drops, perhaps even better than that of the Castle Gate. Perhaps with a level limit?

The ratio between water and giant man eating fish is screwed.... that level is hard! Hopefully the ultima weapons are effective on this level...... Not really. As the rangers can access (and attack) a much greater area underwater, the area gets put to good use by filling it with fish. It's the same with the other levels. So the enemy-area ratio's fine for the lake.

So the enemy-area ratio's fine for the lake. Not really. With your reasoning, stages with flying enemies (GL2, GL6) should be jam-packed with bats. But they are not, even with all the black space. In addition, because enemies are attracted to characters within a certain area, characters will have to deal with many more enemies at the same time in the Lake. As for ganon: the stage isn't "screwed", it's just designed that way, for you to be mobbed.

And guess what? There's that massive lake right after castle! I hope this implies something!!!

An Ocean level, maybe? Well, we have yet to super-saturate our levels (well, mine anyhow) by attacking sharks and vampires before moving on. That should be done for some by the time the next update comes, however...

I wish this level made fire attacks at least useless. It would require you to have a more versatile team, and therefore make the whole game more challenging.

Yes, more realistic physics would be nice, but I'm not complaining...

I wish this level made fire attacks at least useless. It would require you to have a more versatile team, and therefore make the whole game more challenging. I don't think so. You don't need a more versatile team, you only need a more versatile weapon equipment, which allows you to simply replace all fire weapons with another weapon before you enter an underwater stage. Therefore if you are using a weapon which can have an outage in certain conditions, your inventory is only more restricted, because you have to carry replacement. I don't think this is a benefit for the game. By the way, underwater fire isn't unrealisic. Think about naval flares. And furthermore every fire in Stick Ranger is caused by magic, which simply explains everything! /me

The "Fire underwater" thing reminds me of Super Mario Brothers. How did Mario and Luigi use fireballs underwater? I always thought, when I was younger of course, that it was due to the fire being Greek Fire (can't be put out easily with water). But then I realized; it's a game, it doesn't have to make physical sense. I mean, Super Mario World had a power up which inflated Mario and caused him to float upwards.
So don't go on about realistic physics when the game itself isn't actually based in reality. Physics works differently in different worlds (I reckon, anyway)

Sure, jakebob, but makin it more realistic would make game more interesting, so i fully agree with General Veers. Right now i have few weapons kept just-in-case but i don't use any of the spare weapons.. they are useless because every single enemy in every existing enviroment you kill the same way. There is no challenge like searching the best way just to adapt.. Now the way to win is straight.. you sit back, addjust steering wheel press accelerate and just watch enemies drop dead. That's ain't what should interesting game look like. Luckily.. there is still a lot of place for changes.. SR still in beta And the fire under water... in part, you're right. It is just a game, but.. it IS based in reality.. Thaths why fire is red and called fire, thats why water is blue and fishes are swimming there. This is very simplified but still reality based, world. (talking about world and not the monsters) And because of that fire should be neutralized (at least in part) by water. Additionaly thunder could work a bit better or have added blast radius underwater. The only explination of the fact that it's all based on magir and therefore fire can be not flamy, thunder can be non electrical. But i say.. why to explain something when it could be done and mage game more entertaining? And my personal idea.. onigiris could float on water. But.. we don't decide nor have anything to say in this matter. We just agree to play it. Life's hard.

If this game was based in reality, then there wouldn't be swords coming to life and: freezing people, acting like a superconducting generator, or burning like some lame simile/metaphor.
