Actually, now it makes no sense to ME.
Rerephrase: Ant is defined as a new category, but it is the only element under this category. Therefore, ant is an exception until a second element with similar properties is made.

ant interatcs with powders like powders do Ant's movement is similar to that of a liquid
If there is another element such as this, the category 'living powders' will be made. Until then, it is an exception

Can't "living" things be solids or liquid? (I don't know if there's liquid living things, unless jellyfish count.. but then I'm still not sure. Not the point I was trying to make, btw.)
