For a long time, Ant was thought to be either semi-solid, or liquid, however I would like to debate otherwise. I think that Ant is a type of powder. However, its a special type of powder because it is programmed to "walk." Ant does create the illusion of flowing, however, in reality, each pixel is rapidly "walking" from left to right. My main reasoning is because of the fact that you can walk on ant. I could be wrong however, this is just a thought that I want to debate about.

Yes, ant has some fluid like and solid like properties. But I'm going to have to call it a solid. 1, because powders float on it, and 2, because the only similarity it has to a liquid is that it moves left and right, but that was only because it was made to simulate an ant, and the way they did it was to make it move. Left. And. Right.

Yes, ant has been thought to be the heaviest "liquid" for some time, and maybe it is just a very wierd type of liquid.

Actually the state of Ant is Powder
For an PG liquid Powders, organisms (Player, fighters) and objects (Box) sink into it (no matter how dense the liquid is)
But in the case of Ant The above things rest on top of it
Therefore we can conclude: Ant is a solid
Ant cannot be a stationary solid (either drag-able or non-drag-able) since it does respond to gravity and fall.
So with the above evidence
We can conclude that Ant is a powder
Ant is programmed to walk randomly (left or/and right) Which produce an illusion that Ant "flows" like a liquid. But it is a powder, not liquid

Not to mention superball also bounces off of it. That pretty much rules out any chance of it being a liquid.

Doesn't super-ball also bounce off water?
I could be wrong though...
but I agree with you in saying that the only reason it look like liquid, is because of it moving...

Ant is not a really liquid. All other liquids are splashing if you throw stone or superball into them. Ant doesn't do this. Powders start to sink in liquids, but not in Ant. And superballs only look like bouncing of a liquid if you throw to many. The superballs don't sink quickly enough and other superballs bounce of those superballs. I'd like to add, I would classify the charged Ant as a "(moving) solid", in contrast to the uncharged ant, which acts like moving powder) Reason: - Make some ants building their stuff.
- Rise the number of dots to make sure there are less than 1000 dots left. The ants will stop working.
- Now carefully clear everything around a charged ant. (while always making sure the remaining dots don't go above 1000)
- The Ant will float in the air, not moving, not reacting to wind. (similar to metal, C4, wood, torch, ...)

ya, i noticed that too...
or you can have them build metal until its less than 1000 and the drag them out of the metal...

Though technically a powder with its properties (such as magma has its proporties) i would calssify it as "Other" with Virus (because they are abnormal and designed to interact with other elements) and Thunder (which i think simply would not fit in another category).

A liquid when falling will move from side to side, but ant just goes straight down. In this instance it is a powder.

How about we just categorize it under other.
It doesn't fit under any of the existing categories.

I think it is a plasma/polymer. It has many propertys of a plasma, yet many of a polymer.

I think it is a plasma/polymer. It has many propertys of a plasma, yet many of a polymer. that's what I'm trying to debate against, it creates the illusion that it's something like a plasma, but its just a living, walking powder...

I agree with cuckooman, it fits best under Other. Or there could be a new category, like Animal.

Yeah, they walk on each other...
So, it is a moving powder?

*sigh*
And I am completely unmentioned...I figured this out before everyone. I defined it as an undefined element before anyone else even knew it was wierd!
EDIT: i feel a bit arrogant. I have no idea if I'm the first. If anyone else thinks they discovered it before me, please say so.

Well, Listo made it that way on purpose, but I was the first to tell people that ant is all messed up and stuff.
