You see a helicopter coming towards you. You shout for help.

You sing a bad song while falling.

You sing a bad song while falling. Well, that was absurd. Anyway, you scope out some land but don't see anything other than the cold metal of the facility next to you. It looks like there's a hatch below, partially buried in the sand. Perhaps if you could breathe in that odd liquid, you could breathe in the water too.

I try (carefully) to breathe in the water, and go to the hatch to inspect it.

The good news: You can breathe underwater, yay for you. You gain a new BATTLE TECHNIQUE: BATTLE TECHNIQUE: WATER FLAIL- Lvl. 1 The bad news: The hatch is shut. You could probably pry it open, but you're not quite sure what is inside. Could be anything. Those random arms that came out of that hatch from before were pretty disconcerting.

kick open the hatch. the next hand will at least get you out of the middle of the ocean.

You kick the hatch. You hurt your foot, seeing as how it's a sideways-sliding hatch. That was pretty dumb of you. Speaking of which, the hatch slides sideways, revealing a weird vent-looking system. It fills with water when you open the hatch, and you follow the tunnel. If you wanted to turn back, now might be a good time. Not that I'm hinting at anything.

I go for it!!

Er... This could be problematic. You backtrack a little and find a jack for some reason. You decide not to question why there's a random jack lying at the bottom of the ocean, but you take it anyway. Well, you reentered the vent. There's really only one thing you can do with that jack...

I'll try to make the vent wider with the jack!

Admittedly, that WAS a kind of obvious puzzle. My bad. You crawl through the vent and find yourself in a new room. There is a LADDER descending downwards, a DOOR in front of you, and a STRANGE NOZZLE LOOKING THING over on the left. The room itself has a high, domed ceiling with a simple and rather badly drawn chandelier hung from it.

I will GRAB ZE NOZZLE!!

You turn to grab the nozzle, but then you feel a chill down your spine. You look over your shoulder to see... Uh-oh. The hands are back, and it looks like they've MUTATED! You turn around just in time to see one lunge for you. There's nowhere to run! You have to kill it!

I throw the glass shard at it!!

It's a little too close to throw, so you settle for a slice. It does moderate damage to the boss. It would've usually done less, but this is the first boss, remember, so it's sort of easier. Anyway, the hand reels back in pain. Now would probably be a good time to counter with a BATTLE TECHNIQUE. You have three (actually two, seeing as how there's no water), so pick one!

You ram it hard. Ooh, that looks like it hurt. The Hand takes massive damage. Finish it?

You decide to try and best it without killing it and woah, what the hell? You suddenly find yourself in an alternate plane of reality. There is nothing but whiteness around you, but all you see is red. What should you do? Maybe if you explored the whiteness a little bit, you'd come across something... ANYTHING...
