I'm thinking the goldfish only take 1HP per turn due to their rarity and cash drop. To kill it quickly you need fire attacks of some description.

The yellow fishes have a defense value of 1000. I have confirmed this with a glad capable of over a thousand dmg, and he very rarely does more damage than one. By the way, there are other monsters with a defense value: Blue Roundhead Walker, Red Roundhead Snake & Red Roundhead Bat have a defense value of 3. I have updated my enemies guide with all the defense values...

I also think that along with defense values the enemies have piercing values. I've noticed that the gel trees do the same amount of damage if I'm inside my preist's aura or not.
Do you think you can check this out?

The Aura doesn't work with the trees, also the silver crystal does not work. But thats because they have a magic attack. I think fire and poison are the things counted as magic, so you need a purple crystal v2 to make a difference with the trees - the black crystal also works with the trees though. *edit* I will see, if I can find the type of attack (magic/normal) and write them in the guide. *edit2* Done, the attack types are in the guide. They are not always what you think they would be. For instance the yellow fishes in the caverns are of type physical and not thunder. They do not penetrate your defense. Everything that is not physical penetrates your defense. I also added the duration of the attack (in case of fire and poison attacks).

Pretty cool, but on the Dan Ball wiki it has a picture of a stronger gladiator with about 250 max hit and hitting over 500 with a criticals card.

Holy crap that's insane!! =D Have you tried uploading that team to versus mode just to try it out? And sorry about my last post, I had only read like page 1 when I said it.
And also, I know it can be beaten, but does over 200 max hit in 1 punch with a sonic glove (max speed AND SPLASH DAMAGE) count as a record? The over 200 max hit would be with a criticals card 1. Normally his max attack is about 104 I think.
Oh, and one more thing! You guys keep saying you could 1 hit eachother, but in Vs. mode that's not true because your rangers Lp value is multiplied. I think Gladiators get x5 Lp and Gunners get x3 or maybe even just x2, which is a big difference.

The team is made to have stupidly high damage, not to be great in VS. Priests have two times their life points, and Gunners have three times their life points. Every other stick man has five times their life points. That means my team is really lacking on life points, and the slow reload time of the Bazooka means I only get two shots in and the entire team is hitting my gunner. Once the gunner goes down it's over. I suppose I could give my priests all attack staffs and give the gunner a catapult card. Then their team would hit the priests first and give the gunner time to kill the other team, though I still don't think that that team will stand up in VS. Though the part about not being able to one hit another ranger isn't correct. I do around 800 damage in one hit. (Even more than that when the enemy is charging at me.) You figure that a level 29 glad has around 950 HP in VS if he's using a magic weapon. If my shot ends up being a critical, that should add around 150 damage. (Enough to knock him out in one hit.)

my gladiator can do 398 normaly, I have 3 priests with 69 str each, my gladiator has 58 str and a beserk card, and with a critical card2 (trying to get it from teh dang seaside 1 boss) he'll do alot more I' also lv 33 I think thats 2 records

Just a note about VS mode with my super gunner:
It is possible to have a really good team with a super gunner. Just give the priests long wood staffs with green/red stones and replace the crit card with a speed card. (Other item is a yellow crystal.)
Sadly I haven't been able to try my team because I lost that save in a hard drive crash. The good news is my new gunner team is already level 27 with most of the right equipment, so it should be ready for testing very shortly.
On another note, I think four priests would make a really great VS team.
Who thinks I'm crazy?

I think you're crazy, priests have lower HP in vs mode than most classes, and no matter how large their aura may multiply, the base damage is WAY too low
