Credit to Jack50p for this idea.
Everyone must answer the riddle above them, and then leave a riddle.
You MUST answer the riddle above you. Weather or not its correct does not matter, and if the person wishes to post it again they may.
I'll start. _______ This riddle is in U.S. Currency
Two coins equal 30 cents. One of these coins is NOT a nickel. What are these two coins?

the coin that's NOT a nickel is a quarter while the other one IS a nickel.

That's easy: A human.
Crawls on four legs near morning (beginning) of their life, two in middle (noon), and uses a cane at night (end)
A man lives on the twelfth floor of an apartment building. Every morning he takes the elevator down to the lobby and leaves the building. In the evening, he gets into the elevator, and, if there is someone else in the elevator -- or if it was raining that day -- he goes back to his floor directly. Otherwise, he goes to the tenth floor and walks up two flights of stairs to his apartment. What is his situation?

so whats the riddle?
In the meanwhile.
You have a wolf, two chickens, and two bags of seed. You have to get all of these items across the river.
In your boat you can only carry either All of the seed, OR Both of the chickens, OR the wolf.
But! If you leave the wolf and the chickens together, alone, the wolf eats them. Also, if you leave the chickens alone with the seed, the chickens eat all the seed.
So, how do you get all items across the river, without the chickens being killed or the seed eaten?

Incorrect.
Take the chickens across, leave them there, go back, get the wolf, take him across. take the chickens BACK, leave them there and take the seed across, leave it there with the wolf, go back, get the chickens, and take them across.
See, you don't have any other items or anything you can use to your advantage (like a tree).

YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY RIDDLE.
I refuse to answer any until it is answered.

i said that you didn't propose a question.
you didn't ask what his situation was before.
I accedentally edited buggys post instead of quoting...
Anywho, thats simple. Hes too short to reach button 12, he can only reach button 10. So if someone else is there, he gets them to push 12. If he is alone, he goes up 10 and is forced to walk up two fights.
I guess the guy absorbs moisture and grows enough to reach the 12th button when it rains. or something. that part puzzles me.

Two fathers and two sons go fishing. They each only catch one fish each, but there are only three fish caught. How do you explain that?

They were a grandfather, a father, and a son.
The father is both a father and a son, the grandfather is a father, and the son is a son.
Brad stared through the dirty soot-smeared window on the 22nd floor of the office tower. Overcome with depression he slid the window open and jumped through it. It was a sheer drop outside the building to the ground. After he landed he was completely unhurt. Since there was nothing to cushion his fall or slow his descent, how could he have survived the fall?
You can either solve that, OR:
A black dog stands in the middle of an intersection in a town painted black. None of the street lights are working due to a power failure caused by a storm. A car with two broken headlights drives towards the dog but turns in time to avoid hitting him. How could the driver have seen the dog in time?

I'll answer both
First: the answer is that he was already outside and just jumped inside. (I think we read that one off of the same website)
Second: It's daytime
and now my riddel: What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a head but never weeps, and has a bed but never sleeps?

easy, a river.
Adults are holding children, waiting their turn. The children are handed (one at a time, usually) to a man, who holds them while a woman shoots them. If the child is crying, the man tries to stop the crying before the child is shot. Why is this happening?

Picture time (with Santa maybe?)!
There is a tunnel with one set of train rails through it, in working condition. A train goes down that set of rails into the tunnel south-bound and reached the center of the tunnel at 5:00 while a different train goes up the same set of rails into the same tunnel north-bound and reached the center of the same tunnel at 5:00.
Neither train crashed, and the trains are made of matter (i.e. they cannot pass through each other like ghosts). How come they did not crash?

You answered the wrong riddle. Although your answer is correct.
hmm... the tracks split in the middle of the tunnel?
You will know that I am coming From the jingle of my bell, But exactly who I am is not an easy thing to tell.
Children, they adore me for they find me jolly, but I do not see them when the halls are decked with holly.
My job often leaves me frozen, I am a man that all should know, But I do not do business in times of sleet or ice or snow.
I travel much on business, But no reindeer haul me around, I do all my traveling firmly on the ground.
I love the time of Christmas, But that's not my vocational season, And I assure that is because of a sound economic reason.
who is it?

As for your earlier riddle, it is happening because the children are getting their pictures taken? I do not know what you mean that I answered the wrong riddle but answered correctly... The answer to my riddle is that one train arrives at 5:00 ante merediem (AM, before noon) while the other arrives at 5:00 post merediem (PM, afternoon). I never said I was using military 24-hour format time. As for yours, it's the ice cream man! Hmmm...I can't think of another riddle. How about I have you solve a 3-D su-do-ku puzzle instead?

Wow, I never would have guessed that.. nice riddle.
As for mine... try not to think about Christmas while reading it.

Ice cream man, as I edited. The riddle was obvious the second time I read it, but I'm a slow editor.
