No, but this is Southern California, and as such is probably THE most likely place to get it, what with all the vacationing and immigration from Mexico in this area.

OKAY EVERYONE LISTEN UP! It's not as bad as it seems. It seems like a huge deal because the news makes it seem that way. The economy was a huge story for the newsto report on, but we've gotten used to it by now. So now the news needs another big story. Guess what they chose to overexagerate on, the swine flu. Actually, it's a human to human virus now so it's called like h1n1 flu, if im not mistaken. In science today my friends and i were joking that we should inject this kid named drew with H1N1 so we can get out of school...

OK then, joke around with the lives of 170 people dead from swine flu and 35,000 in just the US who die from other strains of flu every year.

Honestly, this is in the SERIOUS section. Don't post any off-topic or non serious stuff...

I don't understand that comment. You randomly post something that has nothing to do with the debate to remark about an issue that is either non-existent or has dissolved with little notice. Very hypocritical.

Lots of joking, random stuff... Anyway, many people think they can get swine flu from eating pork. THAT ISN'T THE CASE.

Yeah, that much we know.
Anyway, the "listen up" at the beginning made me hate the attitude of the post before I even read it, giving me a preconceived notion that more than canceled out any effects the post may have had on me in your direction.
In other words, I didn't even bother listening to your side due to the attitude it was written in.
