- Yellow Crystal
effect: AT +20% stage: Grassland 3?
Nice list. I don't think yellow crystals drop from GL 3... either GL 1 or 2. Same with the red crystal. - A spider (GL2, the white one, not the orange one) dropped a Silver Crystal.
- A green snake in GL2 dropped a Black Stone.
- Ever since I've started keeping track, Blue Fairy Snakes have dropped Peridots
three times out of three so frequently that I'm not getting anything else, so I'm assuming the jewels are dropped by specific enemies. In that case, this is the order in which I found the jewels:- Peridot -> Blue Fairy Snake
- Garnet -> Red Fairy Snake
- Aquamarine -> Grey X (the only normal monster left in GL4 without a drop)
- Sapphire -> Green Smiley
- Topaz -> Green Spider
- Emerald -> Red Bomber
- Ruby -> Green Bomber (the only normal monster left in GL3 without a drop)
- Might want to indicate that Onigiri card is dropped 20% of the time, and Vampire Card 80% of the time.

BTW, can you determine when you lost the compos? You can't swich compos if your person is equipped with one already, and they slowly vanish.

What do you mean that "they slowly vanish"? I never had any problems with vanishing compo items, and I have had some of them since they first came out.

I figured it out... Compo sticks to weapons (I only really started SRong this week), so my poison arrow equips with green stone, something like that

Are you sure about these values? For me it was more like 10% and 90%. I had to do over 20 runs to get two onigiri cards. But maybe I just had really bad luck. Thanks for the other stuff. I'll edit it into the list. /me

Of the many times I defeated the Castle Boss, I only received an Onigiri Card once. I would have to say, based on my experience, that there is approximately a 4% chance of getting an Onigiri card while there is a 96% chance of getting a Vampire's card.

that's odd, cause i remember getting 2 onigiri cards, and about 4 or 5 vamp cards

I added all the stuff into the list. And I verified most of it by myself.
I don't know what happend to the Red Crystal and the Yellow Crystal. I can't get them anywhere anymore, although I did a lot of runs in each stage. I know I found them in Grassland 3 more than once (take a look at the comments board of Stick Ranger: /me 2008/09/22 21:05). Also mat (Mat 2008/09/19) mentions he found them in Grasssland 3. Maybe they changed something in the newer versions. General Veers' List mentions a "Red Snake" for the Red Crystal. Those only appear in Grassland 1
And I still don't know who dropped the Red Stone. And who is the second guy, who also drops the Green Stone in Grassland 2 (if this is correct).
/me
Update: I just got the Red Crystal in Grasland 1, Screen 2. Either from a Grey Jumping Smiley Worm or from a Green Snake.

I never got a red crystal from anybody, so I don't know

Remember that on rare occassion some enemies will drop items that are not typical of what they normally drop, so even the unlikely ones might be correct. However, one would have to ensure that indeed a drop comes from this enemy and not from that enemy. One reason why I made no mention of some of the jewels in my list is because I have never been able to receive those jewels and could not verify who gives those jewels. Even if I finally received one, I would have to reverify to ensure that that enemy gave that item.

And that's what sucks about guessing on levels slightly more advanced in comparosin to your current abilities of the rangers given...
...hey, I just started SRing this week, remember?

I'm level 24 (without cheating). All four guys have weapons from Grassland 5. Gladiator and Boxer are using Onigiri Cards, magician and Sniper are using Jewels. The can do nearly all of the stages on their own, I only have to watch them in Grassland 6, because the boxer and gladiator get slightly too much damage from those flying things. But on the other hand I only get experience from the castle boss. I just did a few runs on the castle boss, and amazingly I got three onigiri cards very fast. The drop rate was perhaps between 20% and 25%. Maybe I just had some really bad luck, when I did my first runs, or maybe they changed the drop rates. I also had a look on those jewel drop rates. The most dropping Jewel is definitely the Peridot. If you take a look at the quantitative enemy list you will notice that the Blue Fairy Snake, which drops the Peridot, also has the largest number (68) in Grassland 3 and 4. I also get a lot of Rubys and Topaz, because the Green Bomber Dragons (22) and the Green Bats (19) also have high numbers. Of course, if you kill a lot of enemies of one type you will more likely get an comb item from this enemy. One exception for me was the Sapphire which is dropped by the Green Jumping Smiley Worm (36). I only got one in version 2.0, and on the other hand at least three or four of each Ruby and Topaz. This doesn't match very good. But if I take a look on my old statistic for version 1.8 it matches much better. Which leads to a theory: " There might be a good chance, that all seven drop rates for jewels are completely the same. The reason why one jewel drops more often than another is probably only dependent on the total number of the enemy which drops this jewel." At least I think the number of the different jewels types I found are within a good propability for this theory. /me

That would explain why I have never seen some jewels (e.g. garnet and aquamarine) in my entire career of playing SR, despite having repeated Grassland 3 and 4 over and over and over and over again.

When I revisited my own topic for the first time I thought: " Oh my god, I can't believe I wrote it with a 'p' instead of a 'b'!" But then I realized: I just copied the name from the game. It's always written on the Dan-Ball pages in his anouncements and in the game like this: 'com po'. Just take a look at the screenshots in the version 2.1 thread ! If he did this on purpose (but I can't imagine why he shoud do this) or if it was just a mistake ... we will probably never get to know ... /me

Definitely not a misspeling.
