Yeah. Talk about vampire cards appearing 95% of the time. I've beaten the boss >15 times. And he's dropped a vampire card every. Single. Time.

Well, if the propability is 95% for a Vampire's Card, this means: There is a 46,3% (=0.9515) change that you won't get an Onigiri's Card within 15 runs.
If we assume only a 90% drop rate for Vampire Card the chance to not get an Onigiri's Card is only 20,6% (=0.9015). But this still means: You could have bad luck, and you might be the one out of five, who doesn't get an Onigiry's Card within 15 runs.

Pobrecito. I was nearly the same way with aquamarine and garnet, but I finally got those after replaying levels who knows how many long, repetitive times. That means that, from a fateful viewpoint, you will eventually get a single ONIGIRI's Card.
Of the 25 times or so that I defeated the Castle Boss, I only got an ONIGIRI's Card the third time I defeated him. This was what I said earlier on in one of my posts in this thread.

So has it been confirmed that the Grasslands 2 boss doesn't drop a card? I'm farming him right now to see if he drops anything. x:

Well, 95% is a 1 in 20 chance. That could be the fifth try, eighth, or even first. 1 in 20 doesn't necessarily mean that you'll get it in the twentieth try. it could be the eighth try then you wont get one in the next 12 turns and it's still a 1 in 20 chance. If I don't get mine in 20 though...I will rip my hair out.

It's been 22(if not, 23) times that I've killed the boss. Still no onigiri card. Is there any other place where they can be found but the boss!?

Even if you don't get the card, you still get nice EXP and occassionally, a thousand bucks to cover your inn trips. If possible, this thread should be stickied within the Stick Ranger forum. I don't like people making new threads asking where to find compos/what certain compos do, just because they didn't go through this thread.

The problem is...beating the boss over 20 times gets horribly repetitive.

Finally! After 22(maybe 23) times killing the boss, I finally got an Onigiri's Card. It was weird because it was the first card I got after I opened Sr just now..

REALLY GOOD IDEA:
NEVER, I mean NEVER walk without a triple arrow! Keep it as a secondary weapon for any given sniper. REASON: Many ranged-firing enemies have a smaller range than the triple arrow, allowing you to fire without their retailiation. Tree-like enemies are stuck in the ground making the concept a lot more simple. Also, triple arrow is shot faster than most arros, allowing more accuracy with flying enemies. Most arrows ark quickly (TA arks, I have seen an arrow fall back to the ground), making it harder to hit a moving flying target, but triple arrow allows several hits at a moving target quickly and easily.
IF A MELEE ENEMY GETS TOO CLOSE, SWITCH TO A MORE POWERFUL ARROW IMMEDIATELY!
EDIT: GIVING THE TRIPLE ARROW ANY ENHANCEMENT COULD BE BOTH EXTREMELY USEFUL OR COMPLETELY WORTHLESS

I agree, and that's why I always have a triple arrow. One of my snipers has a triple arrow enhanced with a green stone (+5 DEX), so his range is now 160. I did not yet give any of my stickmen seven levels' worth of SP, so they are almost the equivalent SP-wise of level 16 stickmen when they are actually level 23. I do this just in case a new elemental weapon requires a heck of a lot of MP.

I'm sticking to a mage with MAG only, a glad. with STR only, an archer with DEX only, and an archer with mixed states (due to some confusion)

One of my snipers has a triple arrow enhanced with a green stone (+5 DEX), so his range is now 160. I thought DEX just makes him faster. If your are going for range you should use the red stone (+5 STR), or the Catapult's Card (+20 range) if you've got one. I also have a secondary triple bow, combined with a Catapult's Card. LVL 25 + STR 20 + triple arrow + Catapult's Card = range 190 When I fight the castle boss with a boxer or gladiator I use the sniper for I-don't-have-to-care-about support, together with the always-throw-him-away-if-he-is-too-close support by the thunder magician. But one guy always has to wait at the corner, while the otheres are having fun ... /me

Dex makes faster? I thought it just increased attack.

Dex makes faster? I thought it just increased attack. STR increases range very slightly, DEX increases attack. Increasing STR on a ranger isn't a smart idea at all, you'd be better off with a Catapult's card, if you really want the extra range. It's true that having triple arrows will help, but when you get to the point where health isn't an issue, using double arrow/poison arrow will allow you to plow through enemies at insane speeds. Though I admit those flying creatures are irritating without triple arrow.
