PG comments board: no one beleaves

ok so me and the listos sevent are advertising on the PG comment board they dont beleive us. they think the ODBF is a fake site! this was started by cooldude48. listen to my argument ill copy it.

This is probably the epitome of fakeness. Firstly, why would a developer need someone called "Listo's Servant", and why would they be *called* Listo's Servant in the first place. They'd be a moderator, they don't need the "Servant" part in their name. Lastly, it should be "THEListo's Servant", because his name is specifically "TheListo".

You gave us a link to the "Official" DB Forums, and these are the same forums that I refered to when I proved that TheListo has no part of the game.

You link us to some carppy IRC chat, but no one here has *ever* seen that chat actually occur, nor do you post any evidence of it existing such as pictures. Even then, it's quite easy to fake (I still dare you to try).

I think anyone who still thinks TheListo has any part to do with this game really needs to rethink the entire thing.

Indeed, advertising successfully on the PGCB is difficult, as you will encounter spammers and opposition most of the time.

The problem is, they think that these are the most intelligent people there. I try arguing, and they ignore any evidence I post while claiming they proved it's fake. That's why I use a macro to post ads.

To be fair, there is little to no evidence that TheListo has a true connection to Danball. The lack of a link from danball to this site also makes it hard to see how it is an 'official' forum.

It is unreasonable for you to call them idiots, when their argument is probably stronger than yours at the moment.

I don't really care if its official or not. Its the only forum I know that is remotely related to DB. I kinda believe Listo is the PG coder, but its not like he ever really proved it (or I didn't read it). And sometimes he doesn't act like it and I still wonder how he got to ha55ii if they don't have a common language to speak.
But besides the Listo, there is no connection to DB right? So even if you somehow got the official approved, its nothing that makes this forum any better than any other forum - if there was one - besides the Listo.

This is the thing that gets me.

Why would Ha55ii work with TheListo without ever crediting him on the site, or even mentioning that TheListo is another programmer?
No other developer in the world would do that. People ALWAYS credit their co-programmers.

I think that it is a lie that TheListo coded for Ha55ii. There is literally no evidence at all.
The people on the comments are right when they call it a scam.


And also, this forum is hardly important to the site if it doesn't even have a link or a mention. Giving it an 'official' label isn't enough to make it special in any way.

There's no harm in it. Either he says no, and everything stays the same, or he says yes, and we get proof of our official-iality and more activity.

Or, you could show us proof by telling us the next pg update at least 2 hours in advance (On the forums)

Saying you showed people on chat proof means nothing. I could say I am the PG programmer and say i showed coding of PG right on chat, but then deleted it before anyone saw it.

Yup, that's a problem. Personally, I'm waiting for project DB-PAL to finish before I get involved in this. He's proven it beyond a doubt to me personally, that's all I'll say.

Just make sure this thread doesn't revert to flaming. Oh, one more thing: If he's not he programmer, then how was Mercury added practically word-for-word from what it was suggested to be, minus the killing-things part? Same of course goes for Whipper and Platinum Medal, except it wasn't quite word-for-word on those.

Sorry, but "minus the killing-thing" means that it is not word-for-word. A partial match can hardly count.

And to TheListo, what was the nature of this evidence?
It is becoming rather clear that you do not have any, or you would be able to produce it.

Okay, so out of a page full of stuff, ONE thing gets removed (One thing that would actually annoy more than help), and now you disqualify it? What if a class was added with the exact details as described here and the name was changed? Also, I love you you didn't even mention the other things. It's more than a partial match. So what if Listo wanted to change something before programming it?

Plus, the comments of the programming are in English.

Anyway, if you think he hasn't been credited, you clearly haven't looked at Ha55ii's blog in proper detail. Even if he isn't, it's not really a scam. It doesn't force people out of their money or make people do things they wouldn't otherwise, like some certain religions I can name (Well, okay, almost all of them). Listo has more evidence supporting him than, say, God.
